Things that I miss from my corporate career!
- The sound (music) of the SMS alert when the salary hits the account at the end of the month
- Office infrastructure (Stand up desks, stocked up pantry)
- How you have an expert in house for mostly everything
Things I don’t miss
- Long routine meetings sometimes with specific pre-determined outcomes
- Getting boxed into silos with specialization in areas not relevant to the real world
- Performance review with a bell-curve appraisal system
